These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and to every order placed with The Canvas. The website is operated by Aegis Life, AA-74, 1st Street, 3rd Main Road, Anna Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600040, India (GSTIN 33AFSPN2194M2ZS) (“we”, “us”). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Products
We sell printed canvas wall art in the sizes and formats (Rolled Canvas or Stretched Canvas) shown on each product page. We make every effort to show colours accurately, but colours on your screen may differ slightly from the printed canvas. Sizes are listed in inches and centimetres; small variations may occur in production.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). The total shown at checkout, including any shipping charges, is the amount payable. Payments are processed securely by our payment gateway partner. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors; if a product was listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before processing the order and you may cancel it for a full refund.
Orders
Your order is confirmed once payment is received and you receive an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud.
Shipping, cancellations and returns
Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy. Cancellations, replacements and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy. Both form part of these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for activity under your account. Please provide accurate details so we can deliver your order.
Intellectual property
All artwork, images, text and design on this website belong to The Canvas or its licensors and are protected by copyright. Buying a print gives you the right to display it; it does not transfer copyright or permit you to reproduce, resell or commercially use the artwork or images.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
